We went back to this railway the following week after the Green Corridor event, this time round with CK as well as Steve.
This time we explored the same station again before proceeding in the opposite direction of the track, towards Gombak (Last week was towards Holland/Ulu Pandan)

The token holder

Awaiting the exchange of the token!

A timely arrival!

I waited a good 3 minutes for this choo choo thingy to happen. =D

I will remember the KTM by their tri color stripes. =D

The fierce looking train wardens (The only fierce one, apart from the other grumpy ah pek near Gombak)

Curious passengers that kept peering out to see all the photographers snapping and clicking away.

My best shot of the day during the 2nd token exchange. by Atan

Happy Atan upon accomplishing the token exchange! Hurray!!

The old machines that’s still in use for the train operations. This houses the keys and have some locking mechanism purposes (can’t remember it)

Cool Mr Atan allowed us to snap some cool pictures of him. Alritey! The coolest guy there (not that the rest are not cool lah!)!

Camwhoring session before leaving the station again!

After lunch, we took 2 stops down to Bukit TImah Courts to look for the next train crossing point (at the entrance of Bukit Timah Hill) aka Hindede road.

The next crossing is near railway mall (YES, we walked all the way down!)

Shot this from the overhead bridge to get a less distorted view

This crossing was at Hillview (Where there is a Standard Chartered bank)

This level crossing is at Gombak/Bukit Panjang, where that huge Mindef is. Oh yea, this is the only point, where we met a bastard KTM officer. He was totally unhappy with us for no bloody reason but who cares… We got approval of the station master to take photos! (He was asking us to go back to Bukit Timah Railway to seek permission. Crazy Ass)

Some old houses by the track near Gombak (I think it could be those houses for those KTM officers while at their duties)

This is the next level crossing at Ten Mile Junction.

Yes! We were so in time for the train passing!!! See the poles were down, getting ready for the train to pass!

A KTM staff that stood by the side of the train doors (probably to enjoy the view of this place before July 2011, where the journey all ends…)

CK and Steve having a shot of the train sign for road drivers at Ten Mile Junction.

Well, we ended our walk here before proceeding to Cityhall for some shots of Capitol Theatre once more. =D
Thanks for viewing!

As Tan Kar Gee of journeytotheend.blog.com pointed out to me, the name of the Bukit Gombak crossing is “Gombak”, and the Ten Mile Junction/Choa Chu Kang one is called “Bukit Panjang”.
