110611 Capitol Theatre

capitol theatre

This series was taken right after my photowalk with CK at Bukit Timah Railway Track.

All the shops that used to be along the main road have already been evacuated and the theatre itself seems to be undergoing some construction. I do hope they do not tear down all the history that lies in this theatre. Will our younger generation ever get to see such things of the past? It’s such a pity when you can read them in history books, see them in pictures but yet, not able to view them in reality. I am so glad to have the opportunity to have entered, took some pictures and have a touch of the past. It was memorable.

I had a 50mmF1.4 and a fisheye lens that day only so pardon the distortions. Also, pardon my correction of white balance in this post (for images that’s shot with flash).

Most if not all of the shots were with an ISO setting of 3200 or more (The swatch image was at 6400 and pulled out from raw!!)
