This very Sunday after breakfast, Dad brought us down to his old childhood place, Dakota Crescent. This is also where I spent a wee bit of my childhood there: Cousins and all gather during the weekdays when the aunts and grandma meets up for Mahjong…

These blocks of rental flats was where my grandmother stayed before they shifted to Marine Parade many (many) years ago.

Back then, the brick houses were brick red instead of the beige and pink paint you see in the pictures.

The lift brought back a sense of Dejavu as it didn’t change much and still had the flavour of the past. The classic part about the lift is, the button’s lit up by the tungsten circuit we see in our bulbs. =D
